Your Holistic Practitioner
How I got started:
On a personal level, I have struggled with significant digestion issues since I was a child. My family history also includes Type 2 diabetes. In my early 20’s I was fed up with the bloating, carrying weight in my lower abdominals, severe stomach pains, low energy, and skin breakouts. I was also confused about what to eat. (I tried almost every diet I found). I had so much to learn about food, my body, and my relationship with both. Over the past 20 years, I have and will continue to work with naturopaths, nutritional coaches, colon therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and other forms of complementary therapy and protocols.
It is a lifelong journey when it comes to gut and hormonal health.
Today I am in a much better place with my personal digestive health, because when I have a problem, I usually know why. In my personal experience, a specific diagnosis of what was “wrong” wasn’t essential. I learned how to build a solid foundation with hydration, food quality, supplements as needed, movement, sleep, stress reduction, and following my joy.
Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Nourish it. Watch your life transform and be healthy.

Other things:
I was a Fastball Pitcher until I was 30.
Distance Runner until I was 30.
Lover of weightlifting – still to this day!
I started practicing yoga 3-4 times per week 17 years ago.
Completed One Fitness Model Competition – I had a lot of learning lessons through this period.
I found Fascial Stretch Therapy 10 years ago after recovering from an injury.
I had broken my right knee and left hand playing fastball. This break required 9 hours of surgery and extensive recovery and rehabilitation.
Being an athlete and a fitness professional, I was determined to regain my strength and mobility while honouring and listening to my inner voice to ensure I wasn’t pushing too hard.
A couple of personal trainers at my gym offered Fascial Stretch Therapy. I had a weekly session for 12 weeks, coupled with my regular training.
Wow! I remember feeling so tall and free!
My recovery time between workouts dramatically increased. My improved range of motion in my hips and ankles helped my knee. I was able to squat full range again with no knee pain and felt safe doing it. These were just a couple of the benefits.
I coupled FST with other modalities like Massage Therapy, Chiropractor, Personal Training, and a Brain Coach. I knew one day I would like to offer FST to help people and complement my other services.
